Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs helps aspiring European entrepreneurs to acquire the skills needed to successfully start and/or operate a business in Europe. New entrepreneurs gather and exchange knowledge and business ideas with an experienced entrepreneur, that they stay with and work with over a period of 1-6 months. The stay is partially funded by the European Commission. Storisell’s Ossian Veronese has been chosen by the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs to go to Slovakia for two months this summer (2016).
As a new business person you get the opportunity to travel Europe and work in another participating EU country. The exchange program provides you the experience to help you start your business successfully and reinforce your business (ie. business development). You can also access new markets and potential opportunities for cooperation with foreign business partners. As the host entrepreneur, you can take advantage of the new ideas that motivate new entrepreneurs allowing them to contribute to your business. Most host entrepreneurs have appreciated the added-value of receiving a new entrepreneur from another country, and choose to be hosts several times. The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a winning program for both the new entrepreneurs and the host entrepreneur, both of which can detect new European markets, new business opportunities and new ways of doing business. In the long-term, the program can broaden your network and possibly result in a continuation of your cooperation, perhaps as long term business partners (ex. joint ventures, subcontracting or supplier relationships).
