Storisell is looking for a Swedish-speaking Motion Graphics Designer in Barcelona
Who are we looking for
We are looking for an educated graphic designer and/or a person that has relevant experience in graphic design and wants to develop in the advertising industry as a motion designer and digital designer. Our goal is to eventually develop some of Barcelona’s best motion graphics designers. You should have the ability to develop visual concepts, illustrate 2D graphics, storyboard sketches, develop brand books, and work with Adobe products, specifically After Effects and Illustrator. We are primarily looking for expertise in 2D animation, but 3D animation is also a merit. You should also be able to work with voice-over files in projects. You have a strong will to develop and you are good at listening. You understand the importance of a high level of professionalism towards customers, managers, and co-workers. You work well in a creative team where everyone’s ideas are respected and you wish to develop and challenge yourself everyday. We see it as a benefit if you have completed independent motion graphics productions as a freelancer or through previous work experiences. It is important that you can show a portfolio, showreel, or work samples where you describe your role in the production. You should master English and Swedish in writing and speaking, however, the following languages are also meritorious; Spanish, Dutch, German, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish (in writing). Other merits includes experience with WordPress and high-level film editing (Final Cut or Premiere Pro), and copywriting.
You have a sense of color and shape and you are driven to make complex ideas easy to understand. You will participate in the entire production process from idea to finished customer delivery. This means contact with subcontractors and partners, across Europe and other parts of the world. You must therefore master spoken and written Swedish and English. Language proficiency in Spanish is highly meriting. In addition, any of the following languages are meriting: Dutch, German, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish. To thrive in this role, we believe that you are a person who enjoys working in a creative environment where no two days are the same. For you, good cohesion is important and you are a team player who is happy to stand up for your colleagues. Building relationships with both customers and colleagues is natural for you, and you can talk about your design in an non-personal way. You have an eye for detail, are unpretentious and take constructive criticism. Your unpretentious approach allows you to take on many projects at the same time and work at a high pace.
We offer a step into the advertising industry in an international marketing agency where the culture is characterized by a go-get-it attitude and personal development. You will have a permanent workplace in our Barcelona office and report directly to our production manager. The department is a small organization, where personal responsibility is important. The organizational culture is very flat and it is easy to ask for help and learn from each other’s knowledge and experience.
Apply by sending your CV, portfolio and personal letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. In your personal letter, describe why you are interested in the service and what you want to develop within the next 1-2 years. If possible, make sure to include any language certifications.
